2. Since we are on the topic of TV, Ben has some obsessions with songs or tunes on TV. The biggest one is the recent IPad commercial tune. Any time it comes on the TV, he either stops what he is doing to gaze at it or if he is not by the TV, he will make a mad dash to the TV and then begin his stoic stare throughout the whole thing. It is HILARIOUS. He also likes The Office music introduction, which makes me happy since I love that show, haha. Maybe he just loves music, catchy tunes?
Some other fun things about him lately:
-he has now mastered using a straw sippy cup! He doesn't really take a bottle that often anymore. He also has started drinking apple juice occasionally, which he loves!
-he will try to eat anything you give him. He's eating mostly table food now and wants to be able to pick it up and eat it. Very independent.
-he crawls everywhere and cruises like crazy! He is so close to walking, you can tell. He stands without holding onto anything for a few minutes with a determined look on his face. The most steps he's taken has only been like 1 1/2, haha. Good start though! It would be amazing if he did it before he was 1 next month!
-he has discovered the function of his finger and nose together. Not pleasant, I know. We hope this isn't a start of a gross habit. :-)
-he knows just what to do to make you laugh. He really tries to ham it up--patting his tummy, bouncing on his knees, rolling over, making silly screams. He will try anything to get you to chuckle.
We love who he is becoming and that he is so social and a generally happy boy! Stay tuned for more in the next month.....Ben's first birthday!
